Finn's stormtrooper designation in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens is FN-2187, a reference by writer-director J.J. Abrams to this cell number in the original film. In A New Hope: The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy, Leia Organa is also designated as "Prisoner 2187."
