Advocate for dress reform in her writing.
Amelia Bloomer was a journalist for a women's newspaper called "The Lily" after meeting Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B Anthony at the Seneca Falls convention she was inspired by their non-traditional outfits (a knee-length skirt with pants). She inspired women to engage in the dress reform controversy and her readership skyrocketed.
