Time period of wave is the total time in which a wave repeat it's pattern or disturbance.

In order to find the time period of wave we can use the angular frequency of wave

As we know that

\omega = (2\pi)/(T)

Now wavelength is the total distance moved by the wave in one time period of wave

So wavelength is defined as

\lambda = speed* time

So it is given as

\lambda = vT
