All of them need commas after the first word and c is the only one that has a comma (or do all of them have commas and I’m just blind?)

Answer:

Why, the tiny shrew is more ferocious than a tiger!

Step-by-step explanation:

Commas are punctuation marks used in written communication to separate two or more ideas or sentences, to add clarity and to indicate a brief pause.

The most common uses of commas are:

  • To separate three or more words.
  • After introductory clauses, words, adverbs or sentences.
  • To separate two or more adjectives that modify the same noun.
  • To separate two independent clauses joined by connectors.
  • To prevent possible confusion while reading.
  • To directly address someone.
  • To separate elements on full dates and directions.

In this example:

Why, the tiny shrew is more ferocious than a tiger!

The comma is changing the meaning of the sentence, without it the sentence would be a question when it actually is an affirmation, and why is the introductory word, therefor, the correct sentence is option C.
