So, you have 48 pieces and you’re trying to split it into 6 equal groups.
For this, you have to divide. Since you’re splitting it, you would divide 48 by 6.
48/6
8
So, each student would receive 8 pieces of candy from their tutor.

To solve this you have to find the amount of candy every student gets
To find this you can divide the amount of candy by the amount of students
48/6 = 8
The answer is 8
Hope this helps!
