Answer:

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Step-by-step explanation:

The person I would nominate as a "A Person of Magnitude" is Doctor Martin Luther King Junior. King was born and raised in a segregated, Jim Crow, southern state whose racist dehumanizing ideas spread all across the South . Even with the constant reminder of being viewed as inferior and being treated as a second class citizen he rose up to encourage people of all races, ethnic backgrounds, and nationalities to stand up against injustice. Not only did he "marshal the troops", but he did it in a way America had never seen before. His movement of nonviolent civil disobedience inspired by Gandhi ; showed millions of people around the world that inequality should never ever be tolerated.
