A basket contains one giraffe (G), one panda (P), one monkey (M), and one teddy bear (T). Kelly randomly picks one toy from the basket, replaces it, and then picks a toy again. The sample space of the event of picking the two toys is represented in an organized list. Fill in the missing outcomes in the list.

Answer:

P-P, M-M, T-T

Explanation:

Given,

The number of Giraffe = 1,

Panda = 1,

Monkey = 1,

Teddy bear = 1,

If one toy is picked from the bucket then possible ways = 4,

If after replacing,

A new toy is picked from the bucket then possible ways = 4,

Thus, the total possible ways = 4 × 4 = 16

{ GG, GP, GM, GT, PG, PP, PM, PT, MG, MP, MM, MT, TG, TP, TM, TT }

Where, G = Giraffe, P = Panda, M = Monkey and T = Teddy bear.
