What is the product? (-3s+2+)(4s-t)

(-3s+2)(4s+t)
1) you expand the brackets:
-3s*4s= -12s^2
-3s*-t=3st
2*4s=8s
2*-t= -2t
2) put into an equation again
-12^2+3st+8s-2t
3) you would usually collect like terms, but there is none to collect so that is the answer.

=-3s (4s-t)+2 (4s-t)
=-12s+3st+8s-2t
