Carl is shipping a cardboard box that is a rectangular prism. The net of Carl's box is shown. 4 inches 6 inches H-10 inches What is the area of cardboard, in square inches, required for Carl's box?

In this question, the length , width and height of the rectangular prism is given which is 4inches, 6 inches and 10 inches respectively .

We have to find the area of the rectangular prism, and the formula that we have to use here is


Area= 2(length * width + width * height + length * height )

Substituting the values of length , width and height, we will get


Area = 2(4*6 + 6*10+4*10) = 2(24 +60 +40) = 248 inches^2
