3 * 4 is 12. 8 * 1 is 8. 12 * 1 is 12. 8 * 2 is 16. 12/16 equals 3/4 if you divide the top and bottom both by 4

0.375 (aka 3/8) times = 1.5
1.5 times 0.5 = 0.75
The answer is 3/4 (three forths) or 0.75 (both are the same)
