Why did n. ireland, egypt, trans-jordan, syria, and palestine fight on the side of the allies?

Because they are under the rule or influence of the allied nations like Great Britain and are loyal to such nations. They also believe if they fought for the allies they would gain their independence and get some good relations to the allies after the war and to be able to escape the opponents harsh rule.
