Answer:

The correct answer is B. A positive result of the protests during the Arab Spring of 2011 was that leaders of three countries were forced out of power. These were the leaders of Egypt, Tunisia and Yemen.

Step-by-step explanation:

Arab Spring was a revolutionary wave of demonstrations and protests that took place in the Middle East and North Africa from December 18, 2010. There were revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt, a civil war in Libya and Syria; major protests also occurred in Algeria, Bahrain, Djibouti, Iraq, Jordan, Oman and Yemen and minor protests in Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Western Sahara. The protests shared civil resistance techniques in sustained campaigns involving strikes, demonstrations and rallies, as well as the use of social media to organize, communicate and sensitize the population and the international community in the face of attempts of repression and censorship on the Internet by States.

The correct answer is B.

The Arab Spring were anti-government protests and uprisings across the Middle East in 2011. They were driven by social media and started as a protest against oppressive regimes and low standards of living in many Arabic countries. Five countries were involved : Tunisia ( where the protests began ), Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Syria and Bahrain.

The Arab spring caused a big transformation in the involved states. By the end of February 2012, rulers had been forced from power in Tunisia, Egypt and Yemen, civil upraising had erupted in Syria and protests had broken out in Algeria, Morocco, Iraq and Jordan.

Many leaders in other affected countries announced their intention to step down. Some protesters were nominated for the 2011 Nobel Peace Price.
