one tenth is 1/10 these are the coins from Europe (0.1)
32/100 is the coins from Asia (0.32)
You add these together to get 42 hundrdths or 42/100 (0.42)
42/100 is equal to 0.42 the which is the total amount of coins from Europe and Asia
