Total = 51 + 23 + 12 = 86

Sparingly + frequently = 23 + 51 = 74

So 74/86 convert into percentage 86.05%

Answer is 86.05%

Hope this helps.

Answer: 86.05%

Explanation:

Given: A company that makes mobile applications surveyed every 10th customer to learn more about how often customers are using one of the company’s new apps.

Number of users who use the new app frequently = 51

Number of users who use the new app sparingly = 23

Number of users who do not use the new app = 12

Number of users who use the new app either frequently or sparingly =

51+23=74

Total users =
51+23+12=86

Now, the predicted percentage of customers who use the new app either frequently or sparingly is given by :_

(74)/(86)*100=86.046511\approx86.05\%
