If he needs 22 pirates for 2 ships, then divide the number of pirates by the number of ships to find out the number of pirates per ship he needs.

(22 pirates)/(2 ships) = 11 pirates per ship

For each ship, he needs 11 pirates.

For 4 ships, he needs: 11 pirates/ship * 4 ships = 44 pirates

For 6 ships, he needs: 11 pirates/ship * 6 ships = 66 pirates

The table should read:

Number of ships 2 4 6
