What happens to cells that have lower concentrations of salts inside their cells and a higher concentration of salts in the surrounding water?

If this was to happen, the cell would shrink. This is because water would leave the cell in order to reach equilibrium.
Some things that may happen are the cell organelles may shrink, and the cell membrane will pull away from the cell wall. Causing a bug clump of green chloroplasts.
