\bf \qquad \qquad \textit{inverse proportional variation} \\\\ \textit{\underline{y} varies inversely with \underline{x}}\qquad \qquad y=\cfrac{k}{x}\impliedby \begin{array}{llll} k=constant\ of\\ \qquad variation \end{array}\\\\ -------------------------------\\\\ \textit{since we already know what \underline{k} is}\qquad y=\cfrac{5.4}{x} \\\\\\ \textit{when x=27, what is the value of \underline{y}?}\qquad y=\cfrac{5.4}{27}\implies y=0.2
