Presidents can use their positions to increase the power of the office in several ways. For instance, presidents have made several changes to the federal laws since they have legislative powers to do so.They have used their powers to introduce law amendments to the constitution.Recently, the president of the United States made some amendments to the law on immigrants. In addition, presidents have also vetoed some bills by the Congress which they do not agree with.
