36; Divide b (12) by 2 and square it. 12/2= 6 , 6^2=36

In completing the square method, take the coefficient of x and divide it by 2

then square it

coefficient of x is -12


(-12)/(2) =-6

Now square it
(-6)^2= 36

the value of C is 36


x^2-12x+36


(x-6)(x-6)=(x-6)^2

So the value of C is 36
