As you stop your car at a traffic light, a pebble becomes wedged between the tire treads. when you start off, the distance of the pebble from the pavement varies sinusoidally with the distance you have traveled. the period is, of course, the circumference of the wheel. assume the diameter of the wheel is 24 inches

Hi there!

To find the circumference of the wheel, all you will have to do is multiply the diameter by pi (3.14).

Here's the work:

24 times 3.14 = 75.36

Therefore, the circumference of you're wheel is - 75.36 Inches.

Hope this helps you!
