What does a normal fault scarp formed by thousands of earthquakes over millions of years look like?

A normal fault scarp slides downwards to the earth and it has a shape which makes it look like it is hanging.This side is known as the hanging wall.The other side of the fault looks like a foot and it is commonly referred to as a footwall.
