The type of geometrical transformation that the Taj Mahal has is call REFLECTION. Similar to looking at a mirror, everything is reversed but you still have the same figure.

If you are facing the Taj Mahal's facade and slice it perpendicularly to the ground at exactly the middle, the left and right sides are mirror images of each other.
