Given:If 4a = 1, then a =
(1)/(4).

We use inverse properties to solve equations. Inverse Property of Multiplication says that any number multiplied by its reciprocal is equal to one.

4 is multiplied to a .Reciprocal of 4 is
(1)/(4). We multiply both sides by the reciprocal of 4 to get a=
(1)/(4).

Option D) inverse property for multiplication is right answer.
