the answer is d because he buys them for .3 and sells them for 1 so 100-30=70=.7 and then it costs him 3 to advertise so you subtract three

The answer is D.

So if we are giving away 3$ a week that means we should have -3.

For each soda, we give 0.3$ and take 1$. That means we earn 0.7$ from each.

So we get 0.7 $ per soda and -3$ for advertisement.

Therefore, the equation is:
P = 0.7x - 3
