2y+4x=14
2(y+2x)=14
y+2x=7
y=7-2x
Bring y into 5y-4x=-7
5(7-2x)-4x=-7
35-10x-4x=-7
14x=42
x=3
Bring x=3 into y=7-2x
y=7-2(3)
y=1
x=3, y=1
