Let's get started.

You solve this you have to transform these fractions into decimal numbers.

(3)/(4) \ \textless \ x\ \textless \ (9)/(10)

x is the number we are looking for.

(3)/(4) = 0.75

and

(9)/(10) = 0.90

So we are looking for a number between 0.75 and 0.90, with a three in its hundredth place. It can only be 0.83 since it's the only one with a 3 with a 3 in its hundredth place.

Convert 0.83 into a fraction.

It gives :
(5)/(6)

In short, the number is
(5)/(6).

Hope this helps !

Lets get started :)

Given is that the value is greater than three fourths {
(3)/(4) = 0.75 }
the value is less than nine tenths {
(9)/(10) = 0.9 }
and the value has 3 in its hundredth place

Fractions between
(3)/(4) and
(9)/(10) are

(4)/(5)=0.8 , (5)/(6) = 0.8333 , (7)/(8) = 0.875 , (8)/(9) = 0.8888

Among these fractions, the value which has 3 in its hundredth place is
(5)/(6)

(3)/(4)\ \textless \ (5)/(6) \ \textless \ (9)/(10)
