An ice cream store has 12 flavors of ice cream to choose from. On Tomfool Tuesdays, ice cream is half price as long as you let the server pick three random flavors for you. If you order a half-price sundae, what is the probability that your random scoops will be chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla? Assume that all scoops must be different flavors.

The probability would be 1/1320.

For the first scoop, there is a 1/12 chance; for the second, since the first has already been chosen, there is a 1/11 chance; and using the same reasoning, the third scoop has a 1/10 chance:

1/12(1/11)(1/10) = 1/1320.
