1.5555555556 is a recurring decimal
Your two equations are:
10x = 15.55555555
x = 1.55555555
10x - x = 15.55555555 − 1.555555555
9x = 14.55555555
Divide both sides by 9
x = 14/9
14/9 is the fraction
