so the equation would be ...lets first look at the slope...

look on khan academy for more help on these equations. it helps alot (:
1) so it is change in y over change in x.....or 1/1 =1//so that is the slope....

2) now you need the "b' part of the equation...so that would be the y-intercept which is when x=0...so y=x+b.......take a random point on the line first...so 3,1..then plug it in....1=1(3) +b.meaning b=-2

3)so then the equaiton would be y=x-2..
to check you can plug in a point on the line and see if it works.....like 2,0 and it does
