Minimum : the smallest # ; 5
Maximum : the biggest # ; 12
Median : the "middle" # ; 10
1st Quartile : the median of the #'s before the median ; 7
3rd Quartile : the median of the #' s after the median ; 11

To find the median:
Least to greatest order:
5, 7, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12
10 is the number in the middle. Therefore the median is 10
