Charmaine= x
William=x+3
3 times Charmaine = 3x
2times William = 2x+6
5x+6=76
5x=76-6
5x=70
X=14
Charmaine is 14
William is 3 years older so is 17

Check:
17x2= 34
14x3=42
34+42=76

So Charmaine is 14
William is 17
