What is x PLEASE...
4(x+3)=10*3.5-25

Multiplying out 4(x+3), we get 4x + 12.
Evaluating the product on the right side, we get 35 - 25 (must mult. before subtr.)

Thus, 4x + 12 = 35 - 25 = 10. Simplifying, 4x = -2, and x = -1/2 (answer)
