Answer:

The Declaration of Independence was a list of reasons created to convince the people of the US why they should fight to become Independent from Britain. This list contained problems that the British Government were causing the people in America, which lead to the need for a new government, and the Articles of Confederation. The Articles of Confederation is a written document created in 1777 to establish the rules and functions of the United States’ government. Is it also due to the need for independence from England, with a corrupt government being the main reason, that the two documents share similar values and ideals.

The main reason that people engaged in the war for independence was because they disagreed with what the government was doing to them, for example how much the government was taxing the people living in America. This also lead the people to believe that the British government had too much power, and to counter this, they established a new form of government that would follow the Articles of Confederation, which explained what the 13 states agreed they wanted from a government. One of the major principles of this document was that protecting the independence and state sovereignty, was very important, likewise rejecting centralized power.

In conclusion, the Declaration of Independence was focused on independence from England due to the government abusing its power, and the Articles of Confederation was focused on creating a better government, along with independence. Due to these similarities and information listed previously, logically, there should be no because to the claim that the two documents share similar values and ideals.

Step-by-step explanation:

I couldn't really think of any objections to the claim because the answer to the question is fairly obvious, and I'm too mentally tired to try to find objections.

The Articles of Confederation reflected the values, ideals, and philosophies put forth in the Declaration of Independence.  It displayed the practical difficulties of the Democratic Government. People engaged in the Revolutionary war because they thought that the British Government was exhibiting too much power. To limit its power, this has been their determinant when they establish the new plan of government.
