The months of the year are written on cards and dropped into a box. Remington selects a card without looking. What is the probability that Remington selects a month that begins with the letter M? Write the probability as a decimal. Round to the nearest hundredth if needed.

Well, two months start with M out of the 12. That's a 2/12 chance or 1/6 chance witch, in decimal form, is  0.16666666667

There are two months that begin with the letter M (March, May)
So the probability is 2/12 = 1/6 ≈ 0.17 rounded to the nearest hundredth.

Hope this helps!
