after the war there were just as many loyalists (loyal to britain) as there were colonists. how can these kind of people live in the same country? What rule would instill to make sure there was no chasos? what do you think happend to the loyalists?

the colonists actually rebelled because they didn’t want to pay tax dollars on war debt, and because of the Boston Massacre where Britain soldiers killed quite a few colonists.
