Enrico wants to calculate the height of a building. He makes the following measurements. The angle of elevation from the ground to the top of the building is 64°. The length of the building's shadow is 136 feet. Enter the height of the building, in feet. Round your answer to the nearest foot.

assuming you know SOH CAH TOA

you label the triangle with 64 degrees and 136 feet

136 feet is the adjacent and the opposite would be the height because you don't need to find the other side

you now write out the formula

tan 64 degrees = h /136

you move the 136 to the left side

136 times tan 64 = h

278.8413225 = h

the height is 279 feet
