We can do this by factoring: x^2 + 5x - 36, which is (x+9)(x-4)
We plug f(x) as 0, so (x+9)(x-4)=0, so x = -9 and x = 4
The x-intercepts are (-9, 0) and (4, 0).

Hope this helps!
