Plants need sunlight in order to make food. If the leaf is covered then that part cannot make food. The answer is B)
The covered part will not make food in the absence of sunlight.
The others are wrong because: Water is drawn up from the stem, so the covered leaf don't be affected. Chlorophyll is the green pigment that will be present in the leaf no matter if it's covered or uncovered. Oxygen will still reach the leaf because the paper doesn't stop it.
