Answer:

Starting a recycling program and Converting waste into reusable products.

Hope this helps!

Step-by-step explanation:

NOT: Encourage people in the neighborhood to use more disposable products, ( that would just create more waste... )

NOT: Burn waste in backyard fire pits, ( that would emit carbon dioxide... )

NOT: Have neighbors dump their waste into a nearby river, ( that's disgusting and how is that gonna help reduce waste without polluting everything?... )

Great Question.

Pollution can be extremely hazardous, especially in an urban area with lots of homes. Many local authorities and governments have come up with numerous schemes to reduce the amount of waste produced from households.

1. Provide incentives to households that product lower waste

2. Penalizing and taxing households that produce more than a certain amount of waste

3. Providing easy access to Recycling bins

4. Educating people in the local area about the dangerous of pollution and how each one of them can take part in reducing it
