^^Is correct. The correct answer is “C.” People still use the term “fat cats” today to describe rich entrepreneurs and CEOs of businesses. Usually because of their fright of corruption and whatnot..

That's tough. The term "fat cat" was often used to describe a rich political businessman, so I would go with C, businesses.
