Find the slope between the two points: (12,6) and (20,22)

use the formula m = y2-y1 / x2-x1
(12,6) 12 is x1, 6 is y1 and (20,22) 20 is x2, 22 is y2. Sub in these points and solve for slope (m) (:
In the end slope should equal 2 I believe.

Slope = Change in y / Change in x
Between (12, 6) and (20, 22).
We would use the coordinates from the second point minus that from the first point.
1st point = (12, 6), 2nd point = (20, 22)
Slope = (22 - 6) / (20 - 12)
= 16 / 8
= 2
Slope = 2
