Yolanda buys two types of flowering plants she bought 36 geraniums and 63 marigolds she wants to plant an equal number of flowers in her garden. Each row will contain only one type of flower. Yolanda uses all the plants she bought in her garden determine the greatest. Number of flowering plants that could be in each row of the garden

Find Highest Common Factors
------------------------------------------------
36 = 2² x 3²
63 = 3² x 7
Highest Common Factor = 3² = 9

Yolanda should plant 9 flowers in a row.

Find the number of flowers for each row:
--------------------------------------------------------
36 ÷ 9 = 4
63 ÷ 9 = 7

Yolanda will have 4 rows of Geranium and 7 rows of Marigold.
