We are going to take the account step by step.
We have:
2 pencils for $ 0.79 each:
(2) * (0.79) = 1.58 $
4 notebooks for $ 3.29 each:
(4) * (3.29) = 13.16 $
a comic book for $ 1.29:
(1) * (1.29) = 1.29 $
The change will be:
20- (1.58 + 13.16 + 1.29) = 3.97 $
Answer:
he will receive from $ 20:
c.
$ 3.97
