If the temperature at the surface of the earth (0 ft) is 100°f, what is the temperature at 2000 feet if the normal lapse rate is 3.5°f/1000 feet?

The temperature on 2000 ft of depth would be 107 Fahrenheit degrees, if we follow the given rules. So if it 100 F degrees on the surface, 2 times by 3,5 on every 1000 feet is 7, so we get 100 + 7 = 107 F degrees.
