According to Lawrence Kohlberg, the preoperational stage of preconventional morality is what advances a person's morality.

A persons morality is know to describe someones morals. Your morals are what you believe are right and wrong and the decisions you make. Each persons morals are different depending on what they believe is right or wrong. These values hold strong to each person and they carry their morals (figuratively) wherever they go.
