5(5+x)=6(6+4)
Solving for x:
5(5+x)=6(10)
5(5+x)=60
5(5+x)/5=60/5
5+x=12
5+x-5=12-5
x=7

b.
4(4+x)=3(3+5)
Solving for x:
4(4+x)=3(8)
4(4+x)=24
4(4+x)/4=24/4
4+x=6
4+x-4=6-4
x=2
