Now we have to calculate the volume of a square pyramid that can fit inside the cube.

Since volume of a cube = (side)³

18 = (side)³ -----------(1)

Now we know volume of pyramid (square) =
(1)/(3)(a)^(2)h

Since pyramid is fit inside the cube so height of the pyramid will be equal to its side.

Volume =
(1)/(3) (side)³ ------------(2)

Now we put the value of (side)³ = 18

in equation number (2)

volume =
(1)/(3) (18)

= 6 cm³

Option B. 6 cm³ is the answer.
