Answer 1: B. Photosynthesis

Step-by-step explanation:

Global warming is a natural phenomena which is caused due to increase in abundance of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The greenhouse gases like carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane are liberated into the atmosphere due to human activities like deforestation, burning of fossil fuels and others. These gases traps the heat energy from sun causing high atmospheric temperature.

The process of photosynthesis will reduce the amount of carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere as carbon dioxide gas will be absorbed by the plants so as to produce their food.

Answer 2: A. An increase in global warming.

The forests are called as carbon sinks. As the trees growing in forests absorb the maximum amount of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere so as to use it as an ingredient for photosynthesis. If the forests are cut and clear the abundance of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will increase. The carbon dioxide being a greenhouse gas will trap the heat energy from sunlight and this will result in increase in global temperatures. This phenomena is called as global warming.

On the basis of above information, an increase in global warming is the correct option.
