B because (fog) is g inside of f(x) so -2(5x)+8. You get -10x+8. Then plug in 3 for x. So -10(3)+8. You get -30+8 which is -22

Answer:

Option B. -22

Explanation:

The given function are f(x) = -2x + 8 and g(x) = 5x

We have to calculate the value of (fog)(3).

Since (fog)(x) = f [g(x)]

f [g(x)] = -2(5x) + 8

= -10x + 8

Now ( fog ) (3) = f [g(3)] = (-10) × 3 + 8

= -30 + 8

= -22

Therefore, Option B. -22 is the answer.
