How do I balance this equation:
__HNO3+ __Mg(OH)2 —> __Mg(NO3)2 + __H2O

2HNO3 + Mg(OH)2 —> Mg (NO3)2 + 2H2O is the balances equation as there are 8 oxygens, 4 hydrogens, 2 nitrogens and 1 magnesium on each side of the equation
